Spurgeon Child Care Kenya is a Kenyan NGO that operates in the Kibera neighbourhood of Nairobi City. It mainly supports Orphaned and Vulnerable Children (OVC’s), young people and their families, many of whom have been highly impacted by HIV/AIDS.
SCCK has two main arms to its work: the community-based Spurgeon Child Care, and the educational focus of Spurgeons Academy, which comprises a primary school and a junior secondary school. Both of these areas of work serve the same community, and many children are beneficiaries of both aspects of the work.
